Summer of Cinema Day 25- The Lorax
The Lorax is, by all accounts, an animated abortion of a film. I know that's not exactly breaking new ground, since, when The Grinch is seriously the closest to breaking even, you know that you and Alan Moore could sit side by side and bitch about each others' AWFUL adaptations. Though, at least Alan Moore's adaptations were still decent and understood the source material (yeah, that's right, I LIKED the movie versions of Watchmen and V for Vendetta; they're two of my favorite movies, and I thought the space squid from nowhere in the comics was stupid and didn't make sense). So, how do you manage to get virtually everything wrong in BOTH a 40
